In popular imagination Australia is a great untamed wilderness. It is the sunburnt country of Dorothea Mackellar's poetry and full of strange beasts. In reality Australia is every bit the cityscape the rest of the world has become; but strange beasts still abound if you know where to look.
City Slickers is a tongue-in-cheek portrait series of wildlife in urban settings. We were inspired to create this series after Taylah stopped to photograph some cockatoos stealing chips on our balcony. The title of course comes from a Billy Crystal film.
